About Me

Learn about my journey in game development and the passion that drives my creative process.

I'm Philip Austin, an indie game developer based in the north-east of England. By day I lead digital teams; by night I build neon-drenched worlds under the banner of What To Do!? Games. Everything here is centred on designing playful systems that feel immediate and satisfying.

What To Do!? Games is intentionally small. I prototype fast, listen to players early, and pour energy into the details that make a game sing—the way a hop feels, the snap of a dash, the story told through a single animation frame. Psycho Frogo is the flagship project and the clearest expression of the studio's personality.

I value polish over volume. Fewer releases, more intention. When you pick up a What To Do!? Games title, I want you to sense the craft across controls, art, sound, and the moments you share with other players.
